Cap and gown height and weight. Gowns have a generous cut and are sized so that they fall 8 to 10 inches from the floor. It should be done from shoulder to shoulder tip to tip. Below is a chart we use internally for graduation gown sizes. We want your cap gown to fit you properly. Full fit gowns accommodate up to an additional 120 lbs. This requires that you provide both height and weight measurements when ordering to ensure that the gown isnt too long and fits around you comfortably.
Gowns larger than full fit should be ordered by height only and noted as a double full fit. Measure the total length from your head all the way to the ground with your shoes on. Have your height taken. It is height and weight based sizing and we match it to our internal length sizing. We need your gender height and weight. Record your weight in pounds.
